THREE SISTERS

This project stands out for its thoughtful integration with the natural landscape, showcasing a commitment to preserving the unique character of the land. Situated in a new subdivision on Vancouver Island, these three individual spec homes were designed for one of my favorite builders, with a shared vision of maintaining the natural grading and beauty of the site.

Each home was carefully positioned to follow the natural contours of the lots, creating a stepped effect that harmonizes with the hillside setting. Embracing a West Coast modern theme, the homes feature unique floorplans, peek-a-boo windows, and strategic design elements that maximize privacy while capturing views of the surrounding parkland.

This development reflects a deep respect for the environment, demonstrating that even in a residential setting, thoughtful design can honor the land. The result is a collection of homes that not only complement the landscape but also enhance the living experience for those who call them home.
