Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the art of home design. I would spend hours drawing floorplans and envisioning dream homes in beautiful, remote places—spaces that felt as if they had a life of their own.
Before founding Meraki Shane, I built my career in the construction industry, managing large construction projects and working directly with the trades. It was through this hands-on experience that my love for building truly blossomed—seeing a vision come to life, piece by piece, is an unparalleled experience. That’s when I knew I wanted to combine my passion for design with my practical understanding of construction, and Meraki Shane was born.
“Meraki" is a Greek word that means to do something with passion, with total devotion, and with undivided attention. It’s about putting a piece of yourself into your work, and that is exactly how I approach every project. My purpose is to enhance the human experience by creating homes that feel alive—spaces that offer sanctuary, connection, and a sense of belonging.
